Perhaps the most polished looking fabric. Poplin, often referred to as broadcloth, is a strong, tightly woven fabric comprising of a simple over-under weave and typically a higher thread count. The result is a smooth, durable and generally thinner fabric that has an almost silky touch and very little sheen. When ironed, Poplin looks exceptionally crisp. It is a great choice if seeking a shirt with as little texture as possible.
